About OFC

Employee Engagement Escaping You?

OFC: Office Entertainment Network (OFC.tv) is a corporate YouTube positioned to progressive HR and communications departments as a next generation video-based employee engagement platform. OFC delivers custom leadership series as well as workplace wellbeing programming to reinforce company mission and values among employees during the digital coffee break. According to Nielsen, 44% of all online video is viewed at work during the 12-6pm window. OFC programming is delivered via the network’s signature “cubicle sized reality TV” formats that entertain, inform and inspire. OFC’s partnership with Kaltura, the leading social enterprise video provider, also enables employees to upload and share videos to the OFC player on company intranet sites to bolster best practices, collaboration and community. OFC is the new cornerstone for companies building cultures of engagement that drive performance among a new breed of hyper-connected professionals.

OFC is a creation of Shorn Industries, a ragtag group of cubicle escape artists striving to inspire the uninspired via entertainment. Shorn was originally founded in 1999 with an online destination at www.shorn.com, positioned as “entertainment for the underemployed.” Jordan Berman, Shorn Founder & CEO, cryogenically froze the company during the dot com bust of 2000 when forced to get a real job. The Showtime and MTV veteran re-animated Shorn in 2006 with the creation and syndication of “Cube Fabulous”, the hit office makeover show for the officeless. That series was followed by “World Office Sports”, the workplace athletics show officially NOT sanctioned by HR, and “Career Fist”, the kung-fu career advice show for white-collar warriors. Shorn shows have generated millions of views with brand partners including Honda, Monster, AOL, Mars Chocolate and Marc Ecko. Stay tuned for a bounty of binder clip size fun to come. We’re just getting started!
