Olive Garden wished to inspire the General Managers of their 800 restaurants around the casual restaurant chain’s “winning spirit” for delivering 100% team member and guest delight.
OFC created an employee generated video promotion where GMs were challenged to capture their restaurant’s winning spirit in a 15-second video. The campaign included production of a teaser video, email invitation, video portal upload site, and a montage video of submissions played at their national GM conference.
Olive Garden GMs uploaded 343 videos representing an amazing spectrum of passion and creativity. While many GMs submitted videos captured on their phones, others employed sophisticated film making techniques with special effects and choreographed dance videos. The 4-minute montage video of the best clips opened the GM conference and electrified attendees.
