Olive Garden sought to inspire their Millennial team members about the promise of personalized outcome-based service.
OFC created “Postworthy”, a 5-minute documentary video where cameras captured the unguarded reactions of real servers as they read positive and negative social media posts from actual guests. The social media session was then followed by server interviews where they explained why they choose to serve at Olive Garden.
The video became a viral hit within Olive Garden and was adopted by their President, Dave George, as a rally cry to relentlessly pursue amazing guest service. OFC and Olive Garden extended “Postworthy” into a recognition program whereby servers mentioned in positive social media posts received a plaque engraved with their guest’s message along with a gift card award.
